PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy sets out the principles followed by ROTASEAL SIZDIRMAZLIK SİSTEMLERİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (“Rotaseal”) when collecting and using personal data obtained through its website (“Website”) at the request of users (“User(s)”).

Rota Seal may collect the User’s following personal data, depending on the User’s access to the Website and the transactions they perform:

The User expressly consents to the processing of the data that they may share with Rota Seal at their own discretion, within the scope and for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy.
In accordance with Articles 3 and 7 of the Personal Data Protection Law, data that has been anonymized in a way that cannot be reversed will not be considered personal data under the provisions of the aforementioned law, and processing activities related to this data will be carried out independently of the provisions of this Privacy Policy.
Use of “Cookies”
Rotaseal automatically collects data such as visited sections and clicked areas during Users’ browsing on the Website. This data, obtained using the “cookie” technology, is statistical information. The purpose of this technology is to make the content of the sections visited by Users more easily accessible to the User from their first visit to the site. Most browsers are designed to accept these “cookies,” which are primarily technical communication files, but Users can always change their browser settings to prevent the technical communication file from arriving or to receive a warning when the technical communication file is sent.
Rotaseal has the right to associate Users’ behavior on the Website with a “cookie” in the browser and to define remarketing lists based on metrics such as the number of pages viewed, visit duration, and target completion rate in order to perform online behavioral advertising and marketing. Subsequently, targeted advertising content according to the User’s interests may be displayed on the Website or other sites in the display advertising network.
Purpose of Data Use
Rotaseal may process the collected personal data to enable the User to benefit from the Website, to register for membership if membership is involved, to improve the services it offers, to develop services, to introduce and inform about new services, to provide the User with the necessary information in this context, to establish contact with the User, and to fulfill the obligations arising from the nature of the services it offers.
This personal data may be processed within the scope of Rotaseal’s reporting and business development activities, and may also be used for various statistical evaluations, database creation, and market research without disclosing the User’s identity. If the User gives additional consent, this information may be processed, stored, and transmitted to third parties by Rota Seal and its business partners for direct marketing purposes, and the User may be contacted through this information for notifications regarding the promotion, maintenance, and support activities of various applications, products, and services.
Rotaseal may also process and share personal data with third parties without obtaining the User’s additional consent in accordance with Articles 5 and 8 of the Personal Data Protection Law and/or in the presence of exceptions in the relevant legislation. The main situations are listed below:
- It is expressly stipulated in the laws,
- It is mandatory for the protection of the life or physical integrity of the person who is unable to disclose his/her consent due to actual impossibility or whose consent is not legally valid,
- It is necessary to process personal data, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of any contract between the User and Rota Seal,
- It is mandatory to fulfill legal obligations,
- It has been made public by the User himself/herself,
- Data processing is mandatory for the establishment, use, or protection of a right,
- Data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of Rota Seal, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the User.
Data Sharing
Rotaseal may transfer the personal data of Users and the new data obtained by using this personal data to third parties that it benefits from in order to perform the services offered to the User within the scope of the Website, limited to the provision of these services. In this context, Rota Seal may share User data with external service providers, hosting service providers, law firms, research companies, and call centers in order to improve User experience (including improvement and personalization), ensure User safety, detect fraudulent or unauthorized use, conduct operational evaluation research, correct errors related to the Website or Rota Seal services, and fulfill any of the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy or other privacy texts provided to the User.
The User accepts that the aforementioned third parties may store the User’s personal data on servers located anywhere in the world, limited to the purposes specified above, and agrees to this in advance.
User’s Right to Access Data and Correction Requests
By applying to Rota Seal, the User has the right to:
- Learn whether personal data has been processed,
- Request information if personal data has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
- Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
- Request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
- Request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the relevant legislation,
- Request that the correction, deletion, and destruction processes carried out in accordance with the relevant legislation be notified to third parties to whom personal data is transferred,
- Object to the occurrence of a result against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automatic systems,
- Request compensation for damages in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.
The User can submit the above-mentioned requests through the methods specified in the Data Subject Application Form. Rota Seal may provide its reasoned positive/negative response to the above requests in written or digital form. It is essential that no fee is charged for the necessary procedures related to the requests. However, if the procedures require a cost, it is possible to request a fee based on the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board in accordance with Article 13 of the Personal Data Protection Law.
The User undertakes that the information provided to Rota Seal, which is the subject of this Privacy Policy, is complete, accurate, and up-to-date, and that they will update it immediately if there is any change in this information. If the User fails to provide up-to-date information, Rota Seal will not have any responsibility.
The User acknowledges and declares that if they make a request that will result in any of their personal data not being used by Rota Seal, they may not be able to fully benefit from the services committed to them by Rota Seal, and that all responsibility arising from this will belong to them.
Retention Period of Personal Data
Rotaseal will store the personal data provided by the User for the duration of the services provided, in order to fulfill the obligations arising from the nature of the services it offers.
In addition, in the event of any dispute that may arise between Rota Seal and the User, Rota Seal may store personal data for the statute of limitations periods determined in accordance with the relevant legislation, limited to the purpose of carrying out the necessary defenses within the scope of the dispute.
Measures, Commitments, and Responsibilities Regarding Data Security
Rotaseal undertakes to take the necessary technical and administrative measures and to carry out the necessary audits to ensure the appropriate level of security in order to:
- prevent the unlawful processing of personal data,
- prevent unlawful access to personal data, and
- ensure the preservation of personal data, under the conditions determined in the relevant legislation or expressed in this Privacy Policy.
If links to other applications are provided on the site, Rota Seal does not bear any responsibility for the privacy policies and content of the applications.
Rotaseal does not accept responsibility for damages that may arise as a result of the use of personal data within the framework of the above conditions.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
Those who benefit from the services offered on the Website are deemed to have read and accepted all these
terms. Rotaseal reserves the right to change the provisions of the Privacy Policy without prior notice. The current Privacy Policy becomes effective on the date it is presented to the User by any method.
